Patek Philippe Watch Company was founded in 1839 by two polish immigrants Antoine Norbert De Patek and Francois Czapak. By 1844 the partnership had fallen through and Patek teamed up with Adrien Philippe in Paris. It has remained a family owned firm with the 4th generation now marking its presence in the company.
